“No.”竟然不是Number的缩写！90%的人不知道为什么！

人人有没有思虑过“number”（号码）为什么要写为 No.，并且 number 里没有 o 啊，No.里的 o 从何而来？

number起原于拉丁语名词 numerus（数字，数量），后被引入法语酿成nombre（名词）和nombrer（动词），最后再派生为英语 number。

numero开首是n，结尾是o，

所以它的缩写成是“no”，

但为了和否认词no区别开来，

所以在后背加个小点，即“no.”。

好比，number one = No.1
